DERMA - SKINCARE

This category is the most important in terms of contribution to the consolidated turnover of Omega Pharma.  Over 50 brands refer to this category, which consists of two subcategories: Cosmetics and Medicated Skin Care.

The Cosmetics subcategory plays the current trends in personal care such as total body protection, ageing, and the use of natural ingredients. It offers the consumer a complete range of personal care products for face and body, sun care products and baby-specific products. The Top 20 brands of Omega Pharma include the following brands in this segment: Bodysol/Galenco, ACO and Lactacyd. Other Omega Pharma brands in the cosmetics subcategory are Claire Fisher, Bergasol and Biodermal.

The Medicated Skin Care subcategory not only offers solutions for various skin conditions and allergies, but also includes a product range to immediately cleanse and desinfect the skin. The Top 20 brands of Omega Pharma include the following brands in this segment: Dermalex (Repair), Septivon, and Wartner.

Wartner, the biggest European OTC product for the removal of warts by freezing, was acquired in 2004. By 2007, the brand was available in almost all countries where the Group operated at that time. In 2009, the brand was introduced in the several countries of Central- and Eastern Europe.
